AG is currently 21 months old
I've started doing purposeful play with AG this past week. Thanks to Tot School by Totally Tots, you remember, my new bloggy love! So, here are a few things we did this week.
I introduced her to the chalk board, which she loved!! She particularly liked cleaning it after she wrote on it.
We made a caterpillar, since her favorite book this week is The Very Hungry Caterpillar. I cut the pieces out, she helped me put them on the paper, then, she colored it.
She worked on putting stickers onto paper-she also loved this.
And, finally, we did some finger painting. I had tried this with her a few months ago, but the fingers were still going in the mouth, so even though it was non-toxic, I decided to wait a bit before introducing it again. She enjoyed it for a little while.
Here she is working on putting cut up straws into an empty water bottle. She did this 3 times, then she was done.
She was really excited to show her daddy the things she had done each day. Overall, she did like her activities. However, in doing these this week, I realized, I might need to do some harder ones with her since she seemed to get bored with them after a short period of time. I needed a starting point, so now I can plan accordingly from here. I also have big plans for organizing all of this and can't wait to get started on that after vacation.

Wow! I didn.t realize HG and AG were the same age. I cannot wait to see what you do (yes I admit it I might steal it) Hannah Grace gets bored and I think she is fairly bright. I need to do more organized exercises.
